Duck Dash

Towards the end of each year 1st West Moors Scout Group hold it’s annual Duck Dash. Selling tickets through the sections and in the village at the annual Carols at the Petwin and outside the local shops.

The Duck Dash culminates in 1000 plastic ducks being dropped in to Haddons Water at the end of Farm Road on Boxing Day (weather permitting), which is usually attended but up to 200 people following their ducks down stream.

Gift Aid

Parents are encouraged to participate in the Gift Aid Scheme, as this allows tax to be reclaimed by the Group. A Gift Aid declaration is not a legal document and does not ask you to commit to paying the membership subscription for a set period.

You can cancel at any time. However, by completing a Gift Aid declaration the Group is able to recover tax from your child’s subscriptions.
